HOLIDAY OVER, no expactations

It is still summer, but the days are slowly getting shorter and your holiday is coming to an end. Maybe you have been far away, or stayed close or at home. The summer might have been a time where you practiced less yoga, or had the opportunity to do more yoga.
The summer can also be a challenging time to come to class. There are so many distractions and so many things to do. Going outside into the sun or finding a cool place in the shade.

Getting back into the practice

When you have been away, it can be tough to get back into your yoga practice rhythm again. “Today is too hot, I’ll go tomorrow. No, I wait until I start work or when the kids have to go back to school.” Before you know it, 2 weeks have passed and you still did not start. Whereas at the same time you want to get your body moving again.

It is very common. Wanting to do so many things, but not doing them. Sometimes you even dread going back to the yoga school. As these thoughts appear, do not wait any longer. Grab your yogamat and gear and come and start your practice.
Often you will notice that the first class you take will be easier than you thought. Since you had so many expactations that it would be tough and so on. If you have a light easy class, note that the 2nd or 3rd class might be different than you expect also. It is part of the process. The less you expect, the easier you make it yourself.
We are looking forward to see you in class again.

The summer is also a great time to take a few of our Early Bird class at 7:00. For some people it is really early to get up, but you get so much in return. Make use of the opportunity and come to class.
